The Arkansas Calico Gardeners

Donna's quilt
Donna McConnell's 2009 Garden

In November of 2007 a group of quilters came together to make a quilt inspired by the Ms. Peto's quilt. As the self-appointed leader of the group I introduced different ways the quilt had been restyled in the past. Several members already had ideas in the mind of what they might do. As of April 2009 we have 10 quilts which are in various stages of completion.

The quilt on this page was made by Donna McConnell. I chose hers to represent all of ours because she honored our group in a very special way. Donna added an extra border and machine quilted the following around the border of her quilt.
