This is my favorite ruler. Just as advertised the non-slip grips glide easily over fabric and then grip when pressure is applied. The fine black and white markings include 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" measurements. Of course, they are available in multiple sizes. Go to Creative Grids™ if you need an unusual size. Tired of reading about quilting? Notice the cute little fox on the grid? Since we have foxes in our neighborhood we on occasionly hear them. They have a very unique yelp. Perhaps you have heard this sound and didn't know what it was. Go to Sounds of the Fox and listen to the farcry.wav and the call.wav. We seem to hear it in the evening when our cats are outside. The fox seems to say, "I am coming through. Leave me alone."
