And now we have a scrappy quilt.

I had taken a year to make my 225 Dear Jane blocks. It was time to do something totally different, and I had all these "leftovers" from the fat quarters I used for the blocks. I saw this quilt pattern on Simply Quilts. Fortunately I was recording the program. So I paused it, took a picture of the screen with my camera, and then went to my Electric Quilt software to design the quilt on my computer.

The basic building block of this quilt is a 2" square. I like the circular movement you get even though all the seams are straight cuts. This lap quilt is machine pieced and hand quilted. It measures 52" square and was completed in 2006. It was a belated birthday present my friend Debbie Tait.
